Detoxification is the process where the body is rejuvenated by flushing out toxins acquired through our foods and life habits. During detox you should avoid using drugs, smoking tobacco, and cut back on alcohol and coffee. Avoiding or reducing stress is also important because these diets are holistic and natural in their approach, therefore any changes in your lifestyle can quite alter the objectives of a detox diet-cleansing and rejuvenating. However, for a better health one should adopt the practices of healthy living such as eating a balanced diet based on lean protein sources, fruits and vegetables and whole grains, and nuts, regular physical activity or body exercise and approaching life with a positive attitude.
